Women Hair Removal Tips
Whether you’re into shaving, waxing or whatever else you may prefer, if you’re a woman, chances are that you spend some of your time removing unwanted hair from your body. This can go anywhere from leg hair to a unibrow (or just thick eyebrows). Once a woman finds a method she enjoys and which gets the job done, she generally sticks with it, but if you’re lost and are looking for a little guidance, we’re here to help you out.
First things first: buy men’s shaving equipment. Everything marketed towards women is generally more expensive, as we’re sure you have noticed. With some products, it makes a huge difference, but here, it’s basically just the color and the label. Men’s shaving equipment is generally cheaper and equivalent, if not better, to women’s shaving equipment. We don’t see the fuss in saving a few extra bucks if the razor’s not pink or the cream doesn’t smell like flowers as long as it’ll get the job done.
Now that is obviously only valid for the manual razor. When referring to electric razors, a woman’s razor could really make a difference. When a man’s electric razor is created, it’s with face-shaving in mind. A woman’s razor is better designed to shave underarms and legs, so it’s generally more fit for a woman.
If you’re looking for a longer-term, albeit more painful, solution, you should check out waxing. Waxing is probably going to be a painful experience. It tears the hair right out at the root in order to provide smoother skin and a longer amount of time without the body hair. If you’re willing to deal with the pain, it really is worth it. Waxing, just like shaving, can be done from home, but there are some situations where you can’t reach the area which needs waxing, so you’ll need some help. In that situation, we advise you to contact a professional instead of calling a friend over (unless your friend is wax-savvy, that is).
If you’re looking for a permanent solution to render all others useless, look into laser hair removal. In a few visits, whatever hair you want gone will be gone for good. It’s not very painful, and it’s much faster than other solutions. Plus, think about it: never having to wax or shave again, sounds good, doesn’t it? The hair simply cannot grow in that area anymore: seems like a real advantage from where we’re standing. Of course, this will cost a pretty penny, so if you’re fine with what you’re doing now, stick with it. But, if you’re tired of having to work on removing your hair again and again, laser hair removal is probably a step in the right direction.
